2024 年，兩位年輕演員在臺南片廠重建的新生訓導處，重現臺灣1950年代「良心救國運動」的生活片刻；對應 2020 年，政治受難者蔡焜霖先生在綠島原址重建的新生訓導處，傾訴他當年在獄中的經歷與失去友人的苦痛。 片場複製的營舍因爲颱風而受損，《歌唱祖國》的旋律卻始終仍在，在這片廠重建的空間，記憶由誰來拾取，又由誰來塑造？
